Eddie & The Nonos live at The Backyard Friday, August 14, 9 to 11 pm

The Backyard continues its live music journey, and this time we are travelling the world in song.

We are thrilled to welcome Eddie & The Nonos, a world music, funk and groovy jazz trio. Annabelle leads on vocals and guitar, singing Songs of the World in many languages, from Spanish, Mexican and Venezuelan to Sicilian, Macedonian, Slovene, Greek, Serbian, Pugliese, Sephardic and English. She is carried by Paolo on bass and Julio on drums and percussion, a delicate and irresistibly groovy rhythm base.

After their gigs at Art Base, Unity Bookshop, Cosmodelyk and the Martial Equinox Flow Festival at Mona Monastery in Jette, they bring their repertoire to our stage for a warm and intimate musical journey across languages and continents. Expect something that lives somewhere between intimate and groovy, the kind of night that makes you want to listen, dance and travel all at once.

The music runs from 9 to 11 pm, and you are warmly invited to stay afterwards for a drink and to hang out with the musicians.
